Four Candidates Arrested For Using Stimulants In Police Recruitment Test

Thane: In a shocking turn of events, four aspirants for the police recruitment process in Maharashtra’s Thane district have been charged with attempting to use stimulants during field tests, according to officials.

The recruitment activities, held in the Mira Bhayander area between June 24 and July 1, were intensified with rigorous checks by the Anti-Narcotics Cell.

During inspections on June 28, three candidates were found carrying stimulant-filled syringes, while another was caught on June 30 with a similar substance. Subsequently, the Mira Road police station registered cases against them under pertinent sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.
