Keeping Alive the Legacy of Iconic Late Dr K K Aggarwal

New Delhi: The death of Dr K K Aggarwal, people’s healer, has left millions of people inconsolable. The cruel irony is one who saved thousands of corona inflicted people through 24×5 online OPD, was himself felled by the deadly virus. But undaunted by his impending end, he left the scene by reciting bold and iconic line- ‘Show must go on’.

Keeping up with his wish, the spirit of positivity and honouring the selfless service of Agarwal, on National Doctor’s Day, 1st July,  RJS Bharat-Uday Dr. K.K.  Agarwal Memorial Award 2021 will be announced and there will be a lecture by Clinical Nutritionist Ishi Khosla on COVID and Immunity.  Doctor’s Day is celebrated every year to commemorate the birthday of Dr. Bidhan Chandra (BC) Roy, the second Chief Minister of Bengal and the great physician.

Uday Kumar Manna, National Convener of Ram Janaki Sansthan (RJS), said that Dr. Aggarwal, who has been honoured with Padma Shri and Dr. B.C. Roy Award, has made people aware and managed to save thousands of lives for the past 25 years apart from the Corona period.

Thousands of his videos on health awareness are loaded on YouTube.  For the last one and a half years, continuously serving the people through live video conferencing.  Perfect Health Mela in Delhi is a unique example of their services.Despite himself suffering from Corona, his last video came out, which inspired people from all walks of life – “The Show Must Go On”.

‘On 17 May 2021, he made millions of people cry when he said goodbye to the world at Delhi AIIMS’,  Mr.Soumen Kole, co-convener of Webinar (Secretary-TJAPS KBSK, West Bengal) said.

The family members of Dr. Aggarwal are also expected to attend the virtual meeting along with the dignitaries of Medical Fraternity.

RJS Observer Deep Mathur will welcome the guests and IMA President Prof. Dr. J.A. Jayalal, eminent consumer activist Prof. Bijan Mishra, DMC secretary Dr. Girish Tyagi, Dr. Aggarwal’s family members and other dignitaries will approve this award.

Apart from this, in-charge of positive information centers of RJS family, and other members including women’s group will also join from many states.Late Dr. Agrawal had fully supported RJS’s Positive India Movement.  They said that

This award will be given to a positive personality of Medical Fraternity in the upcoming National Program of RJS.The RJS family will cherish the memories of Dr. Agarwal at Positive India Bhawan, New Delhi too.
