Panipat: Wrestler And Buyer Selling Banned Drug Injections Arrested, 3500 Injections Recovered

Panipat: A case of selling banned drug injections to players has come to light in Panipat. The accused himself does wrestling. He himself was addicted to injections. He also used to give drug injections to players at stadiums and other places. Players used to buy injections from his house also. Anti Narcotics Cell of Panipat Police has recovered 3500 injections of drugs from wrestler Rajpal, resident of Ganjbad village.

The accused had hidden them in a basket in the house. A buyer has also been arrested at the behest of the accused. The police have sent the buyer to judicial custody, while the accused wrestler has been taken on police remand for three days. Preliminary inquiry revealed that the accused was selling drug injections for two years.

Wrestler Rajpal wanted to earn money with less hard work and time. Anti Narcotics Cell Incharge Sub Inspector Sandeep and his team have caught the case of selling banned drug injections. The team said that their team was present near the toll plaza late in the evening on Thursday.

They got secret information that Rajpal, a resident of Ganjbad village, was selling banned drug injections at his house. The police team along with Duty Magistrate Tehsildar Panipat Virendra Gill raided the spot. The accused started running away after seeing the police team. When the team caught him and interrogated, he identified himself as Rajpal, resident of Ganjbad village.

The police searched his house in the presence of the duty magistrate. Here a consignment of banned injectable drugs was recovered from Toodi’s room. Among these, 500 Buprenorphine, 1400 Pentazocine Ozatcel, 1600 Pentazocine Peflin intoxicants were found in banned injections.

According to the police, the accused told during interrogation that he has been selling banned drug injections for about two years. He wanted to earn money through short cuts. With this money he used to spend on his food and household expenses.

The accused said that he used to buy it from Dushyant, a resident of Karhans village, at the rate of Rs 70 per injection. Beyond that, Yudhveer of the same village buys it from him at the rate of Rs 120 per injection. Police arrested Yudhveer at the behest of the accused and recovered seven intoxicating injections from his possession. Yudhveer told the police during interrogation that he is addicted to injecting himself.

A case has been registered against the accused under NDPS Act in Sadar police station. Both the accused were presented in the court on Friday. From where the accused Yudhveer was sent to judicial custody. Accused Rajpal has been taken on police remand for three days. The police will find out the whereabouts of the supplier from the accused. kept knocking the phones of leaders

A leader called the police to get the accused released. He recommended the release of the accused and also assured him not to commit such a crime in future. By then the police had registered a case against the accused. In such a situation, even Netaji’s recommendation did not work.
