Artemis Hospital organised a Spectacular Cardiovascular Awareness Campaign

Gurugram/New Delhi: Artemis Hospital, Gurugram organized a Cardio Vascular awareness campaign on the occasion of World Heart Day. The objective of the campaign was to create awareness among people about the causes and prevention of cardio vascular disease. The aim of the campaign is to create an awareness among the generation to be responsible towards your heart.

The event witnessed various activities and interactive sessions conducted by the team of cardiologists from the hospital including Dr. Manjinder Sandhu – Director Cardiology & Artemis Cardiac Care Pvt. Ltd., Dr. Kuldeep Arora – Sr. Consultant, Dr. Sanjat S. Chiwane – Sr. Consultant, & Dr. Jagdeep Yadav – Consultant Cardiology interacted through live webinar. The panel of experts had highlighted the role telehealth facilities been playing in our lives during this tough time of pandemic.

Encouraging the generation to take your heart responsibly a symbolic release of balloons was done to mark the cause. The agenda of driving an awareness campaign for CVD is to “Harness the power of digital health to improve awareness, prevention and management of CVD globally is our goal for Word Heart Day 2021. Telehealth has a huge role to play as we continue to Use Heart to Beat CVD”

According to Dr. Manjinder Sandhu – Director Cardiology “As we all know Cardio Vascular disease is the primary cause of death resulting in 18.6 million deaths every year. Simple alterations in our daily routine helps to control the evolving situation. So it is very important to take care of your heart. Pandemic has already taught a lot of things to everyone during last 2 years and adapting the habit of Teleconsultation is one of them. So I would like to reiterate that always try and use different & innovative ways to keep your heart healthy. Do what it takes to have a healthy heart and use your heart to beat heart disease.”

As a part of the awareness campaign, Hospital also organized Cardiac consultation & preventive health checkup camps in the premises. The team urged people to always take precautionary measures to avoid any complications.
