9 Fake Pharmacists Arrested By Raipur Police

Raipur : Raipur Police has arrested youths trying to get drug licenses with the help of fake degrees. These youths got fake pharmacy degrees made in the name of universities of different places in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and attached them in the application form for the license.

Actually Chhattisgarh Pharmacy Council issues licenses to the people who open medical stores. For which applications are taken from the candidates. In this, only those who have done B Pharma and diploma are eligible for registration. Meanwhile, a large number of applications had reached the council. This was the only thing the council suspected.

It was told that after this the council got the matter investigated. In which the degrees of 28 people have been found fake. After this, a complaint was made to the Telibandha police. Then the police arrested 9 people in this case. Police have arrested Ravindra Kumar Sahu, Rameshwar Sahu, Dameshwar Kumar Sahu, Sanjay Kushwaha, Khemlal Dhivar, Ramakant Nishad, Chandresh Sahu, Suraj Aggarwal and Sheetal Kumar in this case.

According to the information, Dr. Shrikant Rajimwale, registrar of Chhattisgarh State Pharmacy Council complained to Telibandha police station, about fake diplomas and degrees of 62 people across the state.

In this matter, the documents of the pharmacists and applicants who obtained registration on the basis of fake documents were found to be fake after verification. In which most of them got degrees from other states.

In the Pharmacy Council of other states including Sun Rice University, PK University, JS University, Swami Vivekananda University Sagar, Monad University, YBN University Ranchi, Satya Sai University Sehore, OPJS University, Shridhar University Pilani and other states on the basis of fake documents during investigation in the case. After registration those who got registered in Chhattisgarh by fake means are from Uttar Pradesh Pharmacy Council Lucknow, Rajasthan Pharmacy Council Jaipur along with 28 Diploma Pharmacy students of PPG College of Pharmacy.

Taking action against those Telibandha police registered an FIR and arrested 9 accused and seized fake certificates and other documents from their possession. Police are trying to arrest the other 19 accused involved in this case at the earliest.
