5 More Arrested In Diploma Pharmacy Forgery

Raipur : In the capital, the police have arrested 5 more accused who claimed to be pharmacists on the basis of fake documents. Earlier, the police had arrested 9 accused in the case.

An FIR has been lodged against a total of 28 people in the case. The FIR has been lodged at Telibandha police station in the capital Raipur. Other accused are also being searched.

Applicant Dr. Shrikant Rajim Wale, Chhattisgarh State Pharmacy Council, Raipur lodged a report in police station Telibandha that in the year 2021 and 2022, applications were submitted in the office for registration of pharmacy diploma / degree, the pharmacy diploma / degree attached to the applications were checked.

Ramakant Nishad, Sheetal Kumar Mahar, Sanjay Kushwaha, Suraj Kumar Agarwal from Sunrise University Bagad Rajput, Ramgarh, Alwar, Rajasthan – 301026, Chandresh Kumar Sahu, Dameshwar Kumar Sahu from OPJS University, Churu Rajasthan, Ravindra Kumar Sahu from Shridhar University Chirawa – Pilani Rd, Pilani, Khem Lal Dhiwar from Swami Vivekananda University Sagar M.P., the certificates submitted along with the application form before Chhattisgarh State Pharmacy Council Raipur for registration of pharmacy diploma  were found to be fake during the investigation.

Ravindra Kumar from Uttar Pradesh Pharmacy Council, Lucknow was found to have submitted fake registration certificate in the council along with NOC certificate.

Along with this fake certificate has been issued in the name of Rajasthan Pharmacy Council Jaipur, Satya Sai University Sehore Madhya Pradesh, Monad University Hapur U.P., J.S. University Shikohabad of Firozabad district (UP)

Thus, the accused were found to have fraudulently and dishonestly presented the fake certificate before the Chhattisgarh State Pharmacy Council, Raipur along with the application form conspired for their own benefit. A crime was registered against the accused in Telibandha police station.

Action has been taken against the accused by seizing fake documents from their possession and arresting 09 accused in the case in the past under the direction of senior officers.

While ascertaining the other accused involved in the case, team members have arrested 05 other accused Tula Ram Sahu, Ravindra Kumar Sahu, Rajni Yadav, Anudivya Tadiya and Radhika Sahu and seized fake documents from their possession.

So far 14 accused have been arrested in the case. Efforts are being made to arrest the other accused at the earliest.
