Ruler of Sharjah visits Kerala gets warm Welcome

UAE’s Aster DM Healthcare chairman welcomed him in his own state

Trivandrum/New Delhi: Dr Azad Moopen, UAE’s benign NRI healthcare honcho and Chairman, Aster DM Healthcare was in Kerala to welcome Ruler Sharjah Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Quasmi. Kerala is Dr Moopen’s home state.

Though Ruler of Sharjah was on 2 day state visit but Dr Moopen personally wished that he is accorded a warm and grand welcome. Dr Moopen has created a seamless healthcare republic between India and UAE under his flagship Aster DM Healthcare. Dr Moopen has been a strong culture bridge between Kerala and UAE.

Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah and chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, on Sunday arrived at Trivandrum International Airport in Kerala, India. He was in Kerala on the invitation of Pinarayi Vijayan, chief minister of Kerala.

Dr Al Quasim is keen to strengthen relations between the emirate of Sharjah and the state of Kerala and wants incessant intellectual and cultural exchange between the two countries. Sharjah Ruler also met Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India and senior officials.

Dr Ahmed Al Banna, UAE Ambassador to India, Jamal Al Zaabi, Consul-General of UAE in Kerala, Navdeep Singh Suri, Ambassador of India to the UAE, and a number of ministers and businessmen were also at the airport to receive him.

Dr Sheikh Sultan was also accompanied by Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Media Council, Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler’s Office, Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Executive Chairman of Sharjah Department of Government Relations, Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Owais, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Information in Sharjah, Mohammed Obaid Al Zaabi, Head of Protocol and Hospitality Department, and Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director-General of the Sharjah Media Foundation.
