Nalbari (Assam): The police of Aadavari Watch Post located in Mukalmua of Nalbari district has achieved great success in running the campaign against drugs. Adabadi police conducted a marathon raid for more than three hours at the house of Tapan Mahant in Sutarkuchi village and succeeded in seizing 38 thousand 880 intoxicating pills. The Gaushala house of Tapan Mahant, accused of being involved in drug trade for a long time, was raided. The police seized a huge quantity of pills, which were safely buried under the ground in a cowshed by drug dealer Tapan Mahant. Police arrested Tapan Mahant and two others for their involvement in drug trade.
