Govt Job for M.Pharm to work in ICMR funded project

The Birla Institute of Technology & Science, BITS Pilani is an all-India Institute for higher education. The primary motive of BITS is to “train young men and women able and eager to create and put into action such ideas, methods, techniques and information”.

The Institute is a dream come true of its founder late Mr G.D.Birla – an eminent industrialist, a participant in Indian freedom struggle and a close associate of the Father of Indian Nation late Mr. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi).

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the following project sponsored by ICMR, under the supervision of Prof. Rajeev Taliyan, Department of Pharmacy, BITS-Pilani, Pilani Campus, Rajasthan

Title of the project : Exploring the mechanism(s) of gut microbiota link to Parkinson Disease pathology and its reversal based on fibroblast growth factor 21 gene delivery through lentivirus system

Fellowship amount : 31000/- per month

Eligibility requirements : M.Pharm / M.S. (Pharm.) in Pharmacology / Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical technology and Pharm. Analysis with GATE / GPAT / CSIR-NET / DST-INSPIRE or equivalent examination.

Duration of the project : 03 Years

Selected candidate may be permitted to register for Ph.D programme of BITS, Pilani, subject to the fulfillment of the requirements.
