Govt Job: For Pharmacist at AIIMS in the department of Community & Family Medicine

The establishment of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at New Delhi in 1956 was a dream project of first Prime Minister of India, Shri Jawahar Lal Nehru  and this was executed by first Health Minister of India Mrs. Raj Kumari Amrit Kaur through an act of Parliament known as AIIMS Act.

However, in last 50 years it was realised that there was huge regional imbalance with respect to the availability of tertiary healthcare services that are affordable as well as reliable, ameliorating available facilities for quality medical education by establishing a vital figure of doctors and conducting research activities, with peculiar relevance to the area, in the country.

Post : Social Worker

Eligible candidates are invited to attend WALK-IN TEST and / or WALK-IN-INTERVIEW (as the case may be) on dates mentioned below for the following posts on purely contractual basis in the extramural research project funded by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) titled “Selfmanagement interventions to improve hypertension control :

A mixed method implementation study” under Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Principal Investigator and Associate Professor in the department of Community & Family Medicine at AIIMS Bhopal.

Consolidated Pay : Rs 32,000/- (including HRA)

Age : 30 years or less

Duration of contract : 12 months (likely to be extendable to 24 months subject to continuation of funding by ICMR and performance of the employee)

Qualifications (Essential) : Graduate in Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Work, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Pharmacy, Dentistry (BDS), Ayurveda (BAMS), homeopathy (BHMS), Unani (BUMS), naturopathy and Yoga (BNYS) with five years work experience from a recognized institution or Master’s degree in these subjects.

Qualifications (Desirable): handled a clinical trial, conducted systematic review, published in PubMed indexed journal as first/ corresponding author

Job Description : To conduct offline literature review, qualitative interview, systematic review, enroll participants for trial, quantitative data collection, quality assurance & supervision, data analysis, report writing & dissemination, record-keeping and other tasks assigned by PI.

The employee would need to have a valid drive license for two-wheeler with gear and own/ arrange for a two-wheeler for travel related to the project.

Age Concession
Age relaxation is admissible in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates, Retrenched Government Employees, Departmental Candidates (including projects), and exservicemen in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time.

Age concession to the extent of services rendered in the research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons.

Mode of selection : Walk-in Interview by competent selection panel

Date of Written Test & interview : 03.03.2022 (Thursday), 02 pm to 5.00 pm

Time of Reporting : All the candidates should report by 01:30 pm on date of interview.
Reporting Venue : Room No 17, Department of CFM, Second Floor, Medical College Building, AIIMS Bhopal.

The interview would be conducted in the subject areas of Research Methods, Human Resource & Financial Management, NCD epidemiology, Psychometry & Social Science Research etc.

The candidates shall report with

a. Duly filled application form

b. Self-attested photocopies of proof of date of birth (birth certificate/ class 10th certificate), eligibility qualification mark-sheets, degrees, experience certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), qualifying degree registration with statutory council (if applicable) and other relevant testimonials.
