CM Flying Raid In Hisar: Blood Drawn Without Supervision Of Doctor In Mahatma Gandhi Hospital

Hisar : CM Flying raided the Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Hisar, Haryana at 3 pm. The team was informed that the hospital staff was drawing blood from donors without supervision of MBBS doctors and without trained staff. The team interrogated the staff on the spot and started the investigation. The team includes Sub Inspector Ishwar Singh, ASI Rakesh.

The CM flying team received information that the blood of donors is taken by the compounders in the blood bank running on the third floor of Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences. While blood donation should be done under the supervision of an MBBS specialist doctor. Irregularities are being done by the compounder by taking people’s blood and putting their health and life at risk.

On this information, after contacting Civil Surgeon Hisar, Dr. Sajjan Singh Medical Officer was appointed for the inspection of the said blood bank. After this CM Flying team and Dr. Sajjan Singh’s joint team inspected the said blood bank.

During the inspection, Dheeraj Vasi, Model Town Extension, Hisar, was found donating blood in the blood bank and Dheeraj’s blood was being taken by the compounder Ravindra Singh. No MBBS or specialist doctor was present on the spot.

After this, a team of officers led by Raman Sheoran, Senior Drug Officer arrived in the hospital. Now the process of checking the records is going on. CM Flying had received a complaint that the blood bank was being run in the hospital without an MBBS doctor.

On the other hand, Dr. Ramesh Bishnoi of Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences said that Dr. Navtej Singh is in charge of Nalwa Blood Bank. He was present here. Blood donation is done in the blood bank only under the supervision of the doctor.
