Varanasi: Rasuka Approved Against Fake Medicine Dealer

Varanasi : The State Advisory Board has approved for three months the action taken under the National Security Act (NSA) against fake medicine businessman Ashok Kumar. Last August, on the recommendation of Sigra police station, the District Magistrate had given approval for action under NSA against Ashok Kumar, a resident of Teachers Colony of Secunderabad area of ​​Bulandshahr.

Last March, a joint team of STF’s Varanasi unit and Sigra police station had arrested Ashok Kumar from Church Colony with a cache of fake medicines. The names of 15 other accused had come up during the interrogation of Ashok. The police had also found out that fake medicines were brought from Himachal Pradesh and consumed in different districts of Purvanchal and Bihar including Varanasi.

After Ashok, the District Magistrate had approved the action under NSA against the drug factory owner Rajni Bhargava, resident of Himachal Pradesh, who was arrested in this case. On the other hand, in this regard, Sigra police station incharge Raju Singh said that the action of Rasuka for three months against accused Ashok Kumar has been approved by the State Advisory Board. Soon the issue of Rajni Bhargava will also be presented before the State Advisory Board.
