FSDC Sending Teams To 15 States To Check 843 Candidates Degrees Of Pharmacist Recruitment

Jaipur: Preparations are on to reveal soon how many candidates in Pharmacist recruitment have submitted fake degrees from universities of outside states or have fake degrees in the name of private universities of the state.

The medical department has taken strict action against fraud and started an investigation. 20 teams have been formed for this investigation to collect information and verify the degrees from Universities.

These teams will examine the degrees of outside states and private universities of the state. The most important thing is the university degree from which the candidate has applied for Pharmacist Recruitment. The team will go there and scrutinize the complete records of the candidate.

With this, the way seems to be clear to move ahead with the long pending pharmacist recruitment. State Institute of Health and Family Welfare (SIHFW) is recruiting 3067 posts of Pharmacist. In this recruitment, about four and a half thousand candidates were listed during document verification. Out of these, degrees of 1517 candidates are to be verified.

Of these, 674 candidates have degrees from private universities of the state and 843 candidates have degrees from outside states. Recently, the Medical Department has handed over the responsibility of checking the degrees to the Food Safety and Drug Control Commissionerate. After completion of the investigation, first the provisional list of this recruitment and then the final selection list will be released.

843 degrees from outside states are from 15 states. These teams will go to all these 15 states and investigate. If found to be fake then a big question arises that how did they get registered in Rajasthan Pharmacy Council. Because on the basis of this registration he had applied for pharmacist recruitment. Candidates say that strict action should be taken against the candidates who have obtained the degree fraudulently and against the officials responsible for the registration through this fake degree in the Pharmacy Council.

In the recruitment of pharmacists, scrutiny of degrees from outside states and private universities of the state has been started. For this, 20 teams have been formed, which will go to these universities and check the degrees. We will try to complete the investigation soon and submit the report to the government.
