Two Youths Arrested With 20 Thousand Tramadol Tablets

Jind: Police have arrested two youths with banned drugs near Rasidan village. The arrested accused have been identified as Hardeep alias Deep, resident of Khanaura, Fatehabad, and Sonu, resident of Tolewal, Sangrur district, Punjab. The accused told that they had brought the drugs from Gaurav, a resident of Kaithal. Police have registered a case against the three accused under the NDPS Act.

ASI Harjinder Singh of Garhi police station said that his team was going towards Rasidan village. During this, he got information that Hardeep alias Deep, resident of Khanaura, Fatehabad, and Sonu, resident of Tolewal, Sangrur district, Punjab, supply banned drugs. They get the drugs from Gaurav, a resident of Kaithal.

Both of them are coming on a bike soon. On this, the team started action by blocking the road near Rasidan village.

During this, two youths coming on a bike started going back after seeing the police, but when they were caught and searched, 400 strips of banned Tramadol Tablets were found from them. There were 50 tablets in each strip. Thus, 20 thousand Tramadol tablets were found from them. When asked about the banned drug, they said that they had brought it from Gaurav, a resident of Kaithal. In this case, the Garhi police station has registered a case against the three accused under the NDPS Act and started investigation.
