Illegal ayurvedic medicine factory busted in Valsad, raw materials, machinery seized

Valsad:  A factory manufacturing Ayurvedic medicines illegally has been busted behind the Vishwambhari temple in Rabda, Valsad district of Gujarat. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officials have raided the factory and taken massive action.

During the raid, the FDA has found a large quantity of various types of Ayurvedic medicines, such as powder, pills, tablets, extracts, soaps and oils. In addition, raw materials and machinery used to make the medicine have also been seized.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that this factory was running without any proper permission. This factory was manufacturing medicines illegally in violation of the guidelines of the Food and Drug Department.

Samples of the seized medicines have been sent to the laboratory so that their quality and safety can be assessed. Further legal action will be taken after receiving the laboratory report.

This incident has raised concerns about illegal Ayurvedic medicine manufacturing in Gujarat. FDA is continuously monitoring such illegal activities and strict action will be taken.
