By organizing Grand Senior Citizens’ Event
Faridabad/ New Delhi : AmeriHealth Home Healthcare, powered by Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, marked its 5th Anniversary with a grand celebration dedicated to senior citizens, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. The event brought together more than 200 senior citizens from across Delhi NCR, along with eminent healthcare leaders, to celebrate the growing importance of quality home-based healthcare in India.
The event commenced with the inaugural address by Padma Shri Dr. N. K. Pandey, Chairman, Asian Healthcare Group, who welcomed the distinguished guests and highlighted the urgent need for organized and standardized home healthcare services in view of India’s rapidly ageing population.
Addressing the audience, Dr. Pandey said that with increasing life expectancy and the rising burden of chronic illnesses, home healthcare has become an integral pillar of the healthcare ecosystem. He emphasized that quality home-based medical services can significantly improve patient outcomes, dignity, and quality of life while reducing unnecessary hospitalizations. The gathering was then welcomed by Dr. Charu Dutt Arora, Head, AmeriHealth Home Healthcare and Consultant Physician (Geriatrics & Palliative Care), who reflected on the journey of AmeriHealth over the past five years.
In his address, Dr. Arora remarked,
“Healthcare is not defined by the walls of a hospital. True healing begins when compassionate, evidence-based care reaches the patient’s home with dignity, empathy, and continuity.”
He also expressed gratitude to the patients, families, caregivers, nursing teams, rehabilitation professionals, and the leadership of Asian Healthcare Group for their unwavering trust and support in making AmeriHealth a trusted name in home healthcare.
A major highlight of the celebration was the Excellence Awards Ceremony, recognising outstanding contributions made by nurses, caregivers, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation professionals who have consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication, compassion, and commitment towards patient care. Adding vibrancy to the celebrations, senior citizens enthusiastically participated in a colourful fashion show, proving that age is no barrier to confidence, elegance, and joyful living. The audience applauded the participants, making it one of the most memorable moments of the evening.
The event served as a powerful reminder that healthy ageing is not merely about longevity but about maintaining independence, dignity,
purpose, and quality of life. Experts also interacted with attendees on various aspects of elder care, preventive health, and home-based medical support.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Anupam Pandey, Director, Asian Healthcare Group. He thanked the senior citizens, healthcare professionals, partners, volunteers, and organizing team for making the celebration a resounding success and
