Dubai/New Delhi: Aster DM Healthcare has become an epitome of excellence. Though it does not rest on its laurels, the awards showered on the healthcare major one after another on a trot bear out it has become a byword for quality. It bagged twin Dubai Business Excellence award last week, considered one of the ultimate in the region.
Aster DM Healthcare’s retail arm, Aster Pharmacy won the Dubai Human Development Award and its Hospital located at Mankhool in Dubai bagged UAE Dubai Quality Appreciation Award. His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Deputy Ruler of Dubai and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation bestowed its Chairman Dr Azad Moopen with the honours at award ceremony held at Dubai Opera on April 24.
This is the third time in last one year that Aster Pharmacy has been recognised at the Dubai Business Excellence Awards. This is also the sixth award to be won by the team between 2017 and 2018.
The beauty is its business is inseparably bound up with philanthropy.
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Moopen, Managing Director of Aster DM Healthcare said, ‘Our pursuit of excellence is ingrained in our DNA and as an organisation our teams are continuously striving to push boundaries and scale greater heights of excellence in healthcare. The state-of-the-art multispecialty Aster Hospital in Mankhool has been continually exceeding its own excellence set before and carving cut above the rest. The Dubai Quality Appreciation Award recognises the hospitals efforts to introduce collaborative models that delivers innovative solutions to patients and improves the quality of care being provided to patients.
