Ayush Licensing Process Made Easier In UP

Lucknow: The process of obtaining a license for the manufacture and sale of Ayurvedic medicines has now become even easier. In Uttar Pradesh, all applications can now be made online through the e-aushadhi portal. This step will bring transparency in the process of issuing licenses and curb corruption. Entrepreneurs will no longer have to face any difficulty for licenses.

Now applications for obtaining license for manufacturing and selling Ayurvedic medicines can be made only through e-auspicious portal. All regional Ayurvedic and Unani officers have been instructed to immediately register themselves on this portal.

He should register himself as a drug inspector. From October 14, only online applications for license will be accepted through this portal. The process of offline application will be completely abolished.

Instructions issued

These instructions were issued on Thursday by Ayurveda Director Manvendra Singh. All regional Ayurvedic and Unani officers have been instructed to check their ID and password on the portal in time and contact the Ayurveda Directorate in case of any problem.

Due to the ever-increasing demand for Ayurvedic medicines, the number of people seeking licenses for their manufacture and sale is increasing rapidly. In such a situation, this step has been taken to make the process of issuing licenses transparent.

Many times complaints are received against regional Ayurvedic and Unani officers that they are deliberately delaying the license. Complaints of corruption are also made. In such a situation, now entrepreneurs will not have to face any difficulty by applying for a license through e-aushadhi portal. On completion of the documents, the license will be issued to them within the stipulated time limit.
