Govt Job for M.Pharm, M.Sc as Junior Research Fellow at ICGEB

The ICGEB is an international, nonprofit research organization. Established as a special project of UNIDO, it became fully autonomous in 1994 and now counts over 60 Member States.

The International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology provides a scientific and educational environment of the highest standard and conducts innovative research in life sciences for the benefit of developing countries.

One Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position is available in the Membrane Protein Biology Group, ICGEB, New Delhi component.

Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Position in Atherosclerosis

Fellowship and Duration : Rs. 25000/- per month (consolidated). The project is funded for 1 year only.

Educational Qualifications : BSc with diploma laboratory technician (histopathology) and experience or M.Pharm / MSc. Applicants with prior experience in animal handling and /or histopathology are desirable.

Job description : The applicant will primarily work with ApoE-/- and ApoE-/- Fbn1C1039G+/− mice models of atherosclerosis; design of experiments, drug screening, collection of blood for assays and perform histopathology, data recording and analysis.
