Govt Jobs: For the Post of Pharmacist at ECHS

The ECHS Central Organization is located in Delhi and functions under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through the AG and DGDC&W in Army HQ.

The Central Organization is headed by the Managing Director, ECHS, a serving Major General. There are 28 regional centers for ECHS and 426 ECHS polyclinics.

ECHS is also an attached office of the Dept of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD) as are Directorate General Resettlement(DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).

Post: Pharmacist

ECHS invites applications for the following appointments from ex-servicemen and civilians to be employed as contractual employees on various appointments tenable at the following polyclinics, under the jurisdiction of Station Headquarters.

Chennai for the vacancies arising up to Mar 2023. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview through SMS/email.

The employment period for Ex-Servicemen would be 12 months and for others, it will be 11 months.

Basic Qualification: B.Pharm or 10 +2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and Dip in Pharm
Age Limit: 56

Work experience: at least 3 years of experience as a pharmacist.
Gross Monthly Remuneration: Rs 28100/-

General instructions:-
(a) Individual applications for each post, as per the format attached herewith and also available on echs.gov.in (duly affixed with a passport-size photo), should be submitted along with all supporting documents.

The application must reach Stn HQ ECHS, Fort Saint George, Chennai-600009 on or before 25 Nov 2022 duly mentioning “Application for the post of………….” on the top of enveloping Incomplete application in any form will be rejected. Only one application is required to be submitted for a particular post for all Polyclinics

List of Supporting Documents
(i) Pension Payment Order (PPO).
(ii) Discharge Book.

(iii) Ex-Serviceman Identity Card.
(iv) Aaadhar Card & PAN Card.

(v) Educational certificate/Mark Sheet of 10th, 12th, Diploma, Graduation, Post-Graduation.
(Vi) Valid Registration certificate including renewals for the current year (For Medical and Para Medical Candidate Only)

Vii) Computers course certificate
(viil) Experience Certificates.

(ix) MEDICAL FITNESS CERT DULY SIGNED BY
(aa) For ESM: Medical officer of deoendent Polyclinic and countersiqned by OIC ECHS Polyclinic.

(ab) For others: Chief Medical Officer of Govt HosDital only.
(X) No objection certificate from the current employer (If applicable)

(b) Candidates earlier employed in ECHS but whose services were terminated or who had resigned or are blacklisted need not apply. These applications will be rejected.

c) Only those candidates meeting eligibility criteria and completing the application form shortlisted by the Board of Officers will be considered for an interview; computer-qualified candidates will be given preference.

The eligible candidate will be informed of the date and time of the interview through email or SMS, and a list will also be displayed on the notice board.

An objective type written test on the relevant subject and practical tests as applicable will be conducted on the day of the interview.

(d) No separate interview call letter will be sent.
(e) Candidates will bring all original documents applicable at the time of the interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.

(f) Employment of all individuals will be at the discretion of the appointing authority.

Change in terms and conditions of employment arising out of unforeseen circumstances, at any stage of employment, without any prejudice would be without compensation at the discretion of the appointing auth.

(g) Any changes to this notice, if any. will be posted on the ECHS web site only.

(h) Those who have worked in any impaneled hospital will have a clear gap of one year from the date when the appointment is relinquished in an impaneled hospital and the date when they join any ECHS establishment.

(j) Anybody found using unfair means or creating a ruckus at the time of the interview will be severely dealt with as per the Code of Criminal Procedure Act 1973 on the subject.
