Chandigarh : Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that Haryana has become the first state across the cournty, where online license will be issued to units of manufacturing of medicines.
Giving information in this regard, he said that the process of applying for license online is very simple. The applicant has to apply for his drug sales and manufacture/production license at statedrugs.gov.in portal. Apart from Haryana, three other states are Goa, Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir to issue online licenses for drug sales, while Haryana is the first state to issue online licenses for drug manufacturing, blood centers, etc.
Sh. Vij said that ONDLS portal was launched by him in Ambala recently. This has been possible due to the continuous efforts of Haryana Food and Drug Administration Department and Central Standard Control Organisation, Government of India.
He said that soon in addition to manufacturing license, necessary certificates for export and tender, such as sale certificate, non-conviction certificate, manufacturing and market standing certificate, pharmaceutical product certificate etc. will be applied online. This online process will save paper and time for preparation of huge files and corruption will also be curbed.
Calling upon the drug manufacturers, Sh. Vij said that the drug manufacturers set up its manufacturing units in Haryana and promote this process by applying online.
