Himachal’s pharmaceutical representatives will be on strike tomorrow for 8-point demands

V.Kumar/ Mandi: Medical Representatives of Himachal Pradesh will be on strike across the state on Wednesday. This strike will be held across the country under the banner of Federation of Medical and Sales Representative Association of India. Pharmaceutical representatives will take out a front on the streets against the central government and pharmaceutical industrialists.

On Tuesday, drug representatives under the banner of Himachal Pradesh Medical Representative Association prepared the upcoming strategy. State General Secretary of the Association, Jagdish Thakur said that the pharmaceutical representatives will be on strike for 8-point demands. He said that the drug representatives also have local demands, which are also not being fulfilled.

Protection of Sales Promotion Employee Act, statutory work manual of sales promotion employees, removal of ban on working of drug representatives from government hospitals and big institutions, providing cheap medicines along with giving life saving medicines free of cost. , involves keeping the data of drug representatives personal.

Stopping the exploitation of drug representatives in the name of sales harassment, 8 hours working time for drug representatives and minimum salary of Rs 25 thousand is the demand of the association from the drug industrialists.
