In keeping with Nomenclature, Sparsh Hospital touched Lives of Teachers

Bangalore:  It was a touching (sparsh) event indeed which warmed the cockles of teachers.  In one stroke, on World Stroke Day, the hospital struck a chord among a community which brings about the real change in Society.

Hosting World Stroke Day (October 29 event for Teachers’ Wellness and Stroke Awareness, Sparsh hospital at Yeshwantpur here, sang paean to gurus. The event was fittingly called Guru Vandra. On this occasion, Exclusive Teachers’ Wellness Card was launched marking the milestone in Educator Health Initiatives. Over 200 teachers from 30 educational institutions came in force to grace the occasion.

The impact and highly lauded event “Guru Vandana” was aimed at raising awareness about stroke prevention and recognizing the essential role of teachers in society. The gathering saw participation from over 200 teachers representing 30 educational institutions, emphasizing the need for wellness and proactive healthcare for educators.

The event featured enlightening talks on stroke awareness and prevention, highlighted by the launch of the Teachers’ Wellness Card, offering educators dedicated health benefits and access to wellness resources. As a gesture of gratitude, the event extended a complimentary stroke screening package to all participating teachers, emphasizing our commitment to supporting their health and well-being.

“This event is part of our continued commitment to preventive healthcare. By educating teachers on stroke awareness, we empower them to extend this knowledge to their students and communities, creating a ripple effect of health consciousness,” said Col.
