The Hospital, Epitome of Best Healthcare, celebrated WLD with JVCC Laughter Club

New Delhi: Laughter is the barometer of good health and a medicine too to infuse wellness. On World Laughter Day, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital ( SGRH), epitome of best healthcare model in India, celebrated laughter and made this powerful statement about health and wellness. JVCC Laughter Club in Noida was the venue for a hearty laugh. Dr. Ajay Swaroop, Chairman, Management Board, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, also joined the grand guffaw occasion in the club.

The club under the leadership of SGRH celebrated this Day as community Wellness Initiative in Noida.  Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, in collaboration with JVCC Laughter Club, Noida, celebrated World Laughter Day 2026 with an engaging community wellness event at JVCC Laughter Club, Sector 21, Noida, promoting the importance of laughter, preventive healthcare, and holistic well-being.

The event was graced by Dr. Ajay Swaroop, Chairman – Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, as the Chief Guest, alongside Dr. Tarun Mittal and Dr. Anmol Ahuja. The celebration was led by Commodore Ashok Sawhney, President & Founder, JVCC Laughter Club.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ajay Swaroop emphasized the role of positivity and laughter in overall healing and wellness, highlighting the hospital’s commitment to holistic and preventive healthcare.

As part of the celebration, attendees participated in laughter yoga sessions, wellness activities, and community engagement programmes. Sir Ganga Ram Hospital also set up dedicated health and nutrition stalls offering:

General Medical Screening including blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, pulse rate, SpO2, and temperature checks

Dietetics & Nutrition Counselling with expert guidance on healthy eating and lifestyle management

The event also featured the official release of the World Laughter Day Brochure and witnessed participation from over 500 attendees from across Delhi-NCR, including laughter club members, students, and residents.

This initiative reflects Sir Ganga Ram Hospital’s continued focus on extending healthcare beyond hospital walls through awareness, outreach, and preventive wellness programmes.
