One Arrested With 1,723 Narcotic Capsules

Paonta Sahib (Sirmaur) : The Special Investigation Branch (SIU) team of Sirmour Police has arrested one accused, with 1,723 capsules of banned drugs. On the basis of secret information, the Special Investigation Branch team of Sirmaur Police blocked the NH-07 falling under Majra police station in Surajpur village.

Here the bike rider Firoz Alam, resident of  village Karaundi Tehsil Behat, district Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, who was standing near the dhaba, was searched. During this, 12 boxes of banned capsules were recovered from the person, containing a total 1,723 capsules.

The accused was arrested for not showing any documents in this regard. DSP Paonta Sahib Bir Bahadur has confirmed the matter. He said that a case has been registered under the NDPS Act and investigation is going on.
