Open Sky is the limit for Sir Ganga Ram in COVID Times

New Delhi: As for proud moments in COVID times, open sky is the limit for Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. The latest feather in its cap is the milestone it has created in India-Israel trials for new Covid 19 technologies. The hospital has managed to get maximum number of participants.

Sir Ganga Ram Hospital was one of the six centres for Joint India-Israel trials for new Covid-19 technologies. The recruitment target for the study was 10000 participants; Recruitment achieved was 10022 ; number of participants from  SGRH were 3232 , which is the highest among all centers. Dr Ambuj Garg , Medicine Consultant , SGRH is the  Principal Investigator for this study.

A certificate of appreciation has been awarded to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital by OPEN SKIES in this regard.

Israel’s DRDD, Ministry of Defense and India’s DRDO have collaborated and successfully collected thousands of samples from both the countries to effectively reach a diagnostic solution for COVID-19 testing.

The hospital is earning plaudits for its COVID credentials from all corners. Not long ago, in appreciation and acknowledgement of selfless dedication of Covid warriors and the support staff of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital towards continued care of both Covid and Non Covid patients,  Smt Meenakshi Lekhi, MP New Delhi Constituency, felicitated staff   with Tokens of Appreciation and Gift packets.

Mrs Lekhi spoke to frontline staff and enquired about their wellness. She appreciated their noble work and assured all support.

Dr D. S Rana , Chairman (BOM) , Sir Ganga Ram Hospital appreciated this noble gesture  from our local representative and said it will go a long way in increasing morale of healthcare Warriors.

In order to maintain social distancing, 10 representatives  each of Nursing staff, Technicians,Maintenance Staff ,Housekeeping staff, Pantry and Kitchen staff, Security staff and Resident Doctors collected the gifts .
