Two Brothers Apprehended Selling Intoxicating Syrup Without Prescription

Surat : Surat SOG along with the Food and Drugs Department sent dummy customers and arrested two brothers and a lady pharmacist managing the Samarth Medical Stores at Adajan Village Char Rasta Samarth Park Shila Complex Samarth Medical Stores selling intoxicating syrup without prescription. The SOG seized 34 bottles of syrup and abortion pills kept without billing besides medicines from there and took action.

According to information received from SOG sources, ASI Anilbhai Vinjibhai received information that narcotic drugs are being sold without prescription in Adajan Village Char Rasta Samarth Park Shila Complex Samarth Medical Stores. Based on the information, the SOG team along with the Food and Drugs Department conducted the raid after sending a dummy customer to the shop. The SOG also seized 34 bottles of intoxicating syrup used for intoxicating drugs and abortion pills kept without billing from the shop.

SOG arrested the shop managers Jawahar Manharlal Aslot and Shishir Manharlal Aslot (Both Diwalibagh Society, Athwallines, Surat) and female pharmacist Hinaben Markandbhai Pandya (Rest. Kastora Society, Anand Mahal Road, Adajan, Surat) registered a case and took further action.
