Vendor Arrested With Illegal Banned 220 Bottles Of Codeine Containing Syrup

Bilaspur :  Bilaspur Police is continuously taking action against illegal drugs. In this connection, the seller was arrested today with illegally banned codeine syrup in Civil Line, Sarkanda police station area. “Operation Nijat” being run by Bilaspur Superintendent of Police to save the general public and youth from the clutches of drugs is getting great success.

ACCU Strong local information system and informer of Bilaspur succeeded in arresting the gang selling cough syrup containing codeine. ACCU Joint action has been taken between Bilaspur and Police Station Civil Line, Sarkanda. It is being said that the accused were involved in illegal drug business to fulfill their expensive hobbies. A total of 220 Bottles of banned codeine syrup and a car and a scooty were seized from the possession of the accused. Total 05 accused have been arrested.

ACCU From Bilaspur’s strong local information system and informer, Akash Jendra alias Rahul, a resident of Jarhabhatha and Aman Kachwaha, a resident of Chantidih Sarkanda, along with his associates, received information about the sale of large quantities of illegal codeine cough syrup in the city. A.C.C.U. Raid action was taken at different places by forming a joint team of Bilaspur Police Station, Civil Line and Sarkanda.

In the aforesaid raid proceedings, action was taken in the case registered under the Narcotics Act by duping in Police Station Civil Line area and action was taken against 04 persons who sold illegal codeine cough syrup by duping in Police Station Sarkanda area, thus total 05 accused. Action was taken under the Narcotics Act by seizing a total of 220 Bottles of cough syrup containing codeine.
