2760 Illegal Drug Tablets Recovered From Medical Shop, Operator Arrested

Jalore:  On the information of Drugs Control Officer Pushpa Solanki, Ahor police took action under the NDPS Act on Tuesday and recovered 2760 illegal drug tablets from Mamta Medical and General Store in Ahor. Police have arrested the medical store operator Sitaram Vaishnav.

Ahor police station officer Dharmaram told that Jalore drug control officer Pushpa Solanki informed that in Mamta Medical and General Store located in Madhopura of Ahor, its operator Sitaram son Kishandas Vaishnav resident of Koshelev of Sanderao police station area of ​​Pali district, three boxes of TROMA-100 SR (Tramadol Hydrochloride Sustained Release Tablets IP 100 mg) containing total 1480 tablets, two boxes of Alpram-0.5 Tablets (Alprazolam Tablets IP 0.5 mg.) containing total 1250 tablets and two boxes of ULTRA KING (Tramadol Hydrochloride & Acetaminophen Tablets USP) containing total 30 tablets were found which were confiscated. Along with this, the medical operator was arrested.

A case was registered against the accused under the NDPS Act. Further investigation and interrogation of the accused is going on regarding the purchase and sale of the said narcotic tablet containing NDPS components. Further investigation in the case is being done by the police station officer Nosra. The police team included ASI Surendra Singh, Head Constable Ranaram, Constable Mangilal, Suresh, Pritam Singh, Bhagwan and Kundanlal.
