4 Arrested With 375 Bottles Of Eskuf Cough Syrup Worth Rs 4 Lakh

Agartala : Police of Arundhati Nagar police station on Sunday detained contraband cough syrup worth Rs 4 lakh market value along with four persons from Badharghat area near Agartala railway station.

Briefing the details of the seizure, Additional Superintendent of Police Souvik Dey said, “On Sunday morning hours OC of Arundhati police station received information from secret sources that few persons will be coming from Agartala Railway Station with drugs. Acting on that tip-off police succeeded in detaining an autorickshaw coming towards the city from Agartala Railway Station at Badharghat area”.

“Searching the auto, 375 bottles of Eskuf cough syrup were recovered and 4 persons in the auto were also arrested”, said Police.
