Govt Job: For M.Pharm, M.Sc, M.Tech in Dept of Science and Technology

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, formerly KIIT University, is a private deemed university located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.

It primarily emphasizes on higher education and research in engineering and science.

  • 34 Undergraduate,
  • 32 Postgraduate,
  • 10 Integrated,
  • 11 Ph.D and
  • 7 Postdoctoral research programmes in the fields of Science and Engineering, Medical Science, Management, Law, Film and Media, Humanities and Yoga and sports.

The admissions for B.Tech. programmes are purely based on merit as per the results in KIITEE exam.

Post : Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the project “Vitamin biofortification through fermentation of common energy-dense foods in India and South Africa for young children 3-10 years” sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.

The required Qualifications : Candidates should have passed their M.Sc./M.Tech./M.Pharm. or equivalent qualification in Life Sciences or allied subjects (Biochemistry/ Biotechnology / Molecular Biology/ Microbiology etc) with a minimum of 60 % marks (or equivalent grade point).

NET/GATE qualified candidates will be preferred.

The duration of the fellowship will be for 2 years 2 months, subject to the availability of the fund.

Fellowship : Rs 31,000 per month + HRA

Age Limit :The upper age limit of the candidate should be below 28 years as on 01-10- 2021. Age relaxations will be given as per the Government of India rules.

The last date for the submission of the application is 10th June, 2022.

Only short-listed candidates will be called for an interview.

Note : Virtual or Physical mode interview will be conducted depending on COVID- 19 situation.

• No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates to appear for the interview.

• Original documents should be produced at the time of the interview.
