Joint Team Of Police And Drug Department Raided Five Medicine Shops, One Medical Store Sealed

Kanpur:  A joint team of police and drug department raided Nala Paar Chamanganj in Bajaria police station area on Monday evening on the information of illegal sale of medicines. During the raid, the team conducted a thorough checking of five Allopathic medicine shops and took action against three shops.

Drug Inspector Rekha Sachan said that on the information of illegal sale of Allopathic medicines in Nala Paar Chamanganj located in Bajaria police station area, a raid was conducted with local police and BSF jawans. During the raid, five medicine shops were thoroughly checked.

In the case of illegal sale of medicines, during the investigation, illegal medicines were found at MSSR Medical at the house of Khujaid Asif. The shop was sealed after taking the medicines into custody and a warning was given.

Medicines should not be sold without license. This shop was being run completely illegally. Medicines were checked in the second shop of Mohammad Salim son Naru Ansari. He could not show the license of the shop. Due to which it has been sealed and seven days have been given to open it after showing the license .

Similarly, illegal sale of medicines was found at Shine Medical Store, the medicines were sealed and a warning was given that the shop can be run after showing the license. Samples have also been taken from here.

Akhtar Patru Rauf’s shop was checked. The medical store operator has been instructed to submit the license of the shop within 7 days. If the license is not shown within 7 days, it will be sealed. Similarly, time has been given to the owners of the five shops to submit the license. This action will be taken further as well.
