Incidentally, Dr Chaudhry, a well known orthopaedic and knee replacement surgeon walked along oft repeated phrase ‘like father like son’ also earning Guinness Book fame for largest digital knee joint care session in the world this year.

In a media interaction in January, Dr Aashish Chaudhry beamed with confidence and gave impression that world is his oyster and he is ready to push the envelope still further to make Aakash Healthcare one of the best healthcare model in India. Dr Chaudhry gave a detailed lowdown on his future expansion plans.

In 2024, Aakash Healthcare underwent huge infrastructural transformation which entailed addition of 100 beds, increasing the total bed capacity to 300, and opening of four new operation theaters making 12 ot in all. Add to it specialized units such as the Interventional Radiology Suite, Bronchoscopy Suite, and a Bone Marrow Transplant Unit.
