Doon Police Arrested Wanted For Manufacturing And Selling Narcotic Drugs Under The Guise Of A Herbal Factory

Dehradun: In order to realize the vision of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami of “Drugs Free Devbhoomi 2025”, instructions have been issued by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun to all the subordinates to identify the accused involved in illegal drug smuggling and drug trade in their respective areas and take strict action against them.

In the above sequence, Sahaspur police station, ANTF team, and Drugs/FDA Vigilance Team (drugs deptt team) Dehradun recovered a large quantity of illegally manufactured narcotic drugs and syrups from a factory building named Green Herbal near Kaya Cycle Godown on Langha Road on 05.12.2024 and arrested 03 accused 1- Sanjay Kumar 2- Shivkumar 3- Rehman under Section 8/22 (C) / 29 NDPS Act and sent them to jail. In the incident, 02 other accused Rishabh Jain and Kanhaiya Lal were absconding, for whose arrest the police team was continuously raiding all their possible locations, as well as collecting information through the informer system while conducting secret searches. As a result of the efforts made by the police team, on 14-12-24, the accused Kanhaiya Lal wanted in the incident was arrested by the police near the bus station Herbertpur on the information of the informer.

During interrogation of the accused, information was given by him regarding bringing raw material from different factories for manufacturing fake medicines. Further action is being taken by the police on the basis of information received from the accused.

1- Kanhaiya Lal son of Mor Mukut Singh resident of village Nagal Ghani P.O. Naugaon tehsil and police station Saadabad district Mathura U.P. present address: Pragati Vihar police station Selaqui district Dehradun age- 42 years
