Elderly Arrested With Drug Pills And Capsules In Ambala

Ambala : Baldev Nagar police arrested the accused Bhupinder Singh of Subhash Nagar with 1840 intoxicating pills and 168 capsules.

On the complaint of ASI Lovely in Thana Baldev Nagar, a case was registered under the NDPS Act against accused Bhupinder Singh of Subhash Nagar. According to Baldev Nagar police station in-charge Ramkumar, the accused was taken on remand for 2 days from the court.

According to the station in-charge, the accused old man was coming on foot from Subhash Nagar towards Service Road Baldev Nagar. Who had black colored polythene in his hand. Which was searched in front of SDO East and Gazetted Officer Vaibhav, 21 leaves i.e. 168 capsules and 30 leaves i.e. 1840 galleys were recovered from polythene.

In this regard, SP Jashandeep Singh Randhawa told that the accused does not have any criminal record before. Since January 1 this year till now, 67 cases of Narcotics Act have been registered and 167 accused have been sent to jail.
