Gurugram/ New Delhi: Medeor Hospital at Manesar is building reputation of being an excellent facility for Emergency Medicine. The coveted award in Healthcare Transformation Summit underlines the fact loud and clear.
The Multi Speciality Hospital Medeor, Gurugram bagged the Award of Excellence and recognised as Hospital for Emergency Medicine, for the project Medeor Institute of Emergency Medicine. The award was virtually presented in presence of Shri Ashwini Kumar Chowbey , Union Minister of State, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India at Healthcare Transformation Summit on Aug 21.The two-day Healthcare Transformation Summit was held on 21-22 August 2020 on virtual platform and was focused on the theme ‘Adapt and Rise: Combating COVID-19 with Systematic Resilience’.
The Medeor Institute of Emergency Medicine (MIEM) was set up in 2017 and was dedicated to practice of emergency medicine, prehospital care and crisis management. The mission of MIEM is to achieve superior quality integrated emergency healthcare delivery system using state-of-the-art technological advances in medicine, medical expertise and research for the community. It is the first institute which received NABH Emergency Department certification in Gurugram, earlier this year.
On this occasion, Dr Tamorish Kole, Chairman of MIEM expressed his regards to all team members, the hospital leadership and the community which seeks emergency care at the institute. He said “ The award is the testimony to the countless episodes where the team performed right set of action at right time to save lives.”
“There are also lot of delays in seeking emergency care during the current COVID 19 pandemic, which should be addressed and patients should be educated and counselled to avoid further complications” he added.
