The National Innovation Foundation – India, is India’s national initiative to strengthen the grassroots technological innovations and outstanding traditional knowledge.
Its mission is to help India become a creative and knowledge-based society by expanding policy and institutional space for grassroots technological innovators.
NIF scouts, supports and spawns’ grassroots innovations developed by individuals and local communities in any technological field, helping in human survival without any help from formal sector.
It also tries to ensure that such innovations diffuse widely through commercial and/or non-commercial channels, generating material or non-material incentives for them and others involved in the value chain.

Research Associate – I
Qualification : Doctoral Degree in Life Science / Agriculture Science or having 3 years of research and development experience after Master’s in Engineering / Technology / Veterinary/ Pharma with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal

Research Associate – II

Principal Project Associate

And Eight Years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Sciences and Technology Organisation’s and Scientific activities and services.
OR Doctoral Degree in Science / Engineering / Technology / Veterinary/ Pharma / MD a recognized University or equivalent
And
Four Years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Sciences and Technology Organisation’s and Scientific activities and services.

Emoluments (Rs) : 49,000/- + HRA
The upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per Central Government norms. The Controlling Authority may give relaxation in qualification, experience and the upper age limit in case of deserving candidates.
All the positions are contractual initially for two years which can be extended further up to five years subject to satisfactory performance. The location of the activities/posting can be anywhere in India. Leaves and other benefits can be as per institutional norms.
