Government of Assam created the Assam Rural Infrastructure and Agricultural Services (ARIAS) Society in November 1998, as an autonomous body, headed by the Chief Secretary, Assam, as its President (Project Guidance Council) and the Agriculture Production Commissioner, Assam as the Chairman (Governing Body).
The Project Coordination Unit (PCU) is the head quarter of the Society, which is headed by a State Project Director.
The key mandate of the Society is to manage, coordinate, implement World Bank aided projects and any other externally funded projects as authorized by the State Government, and to monitor the implementation performance of the line departments of the projects.
The ARIAS Society invites application for the following positions under the World Bank financed Assam Agribusiness and Rural Transformation Project (APART) & Assam Citizen Centric Service Delivery Project (ACCSDP).
Post : Manager – Incubation and Entrepreneurship Development (MIED)- 1nos
Qualification : M.Sc. / three or four year Bachelors professional degree program in Life Sciences / Bio-medical sciences / Pharmacy and any other allied Biotechnology areas from a recognized institute.
Experience : The MIED must have at least seven (7) years of experience; preferably in promotion of innovation/ entrepreneurship/ Incubation. Managing the program related to Biotech promotion, Biotech Incubator/ Agri or food business incubator/technology business incubator in the capacity of incubator manager/team leader/CEO or a similar position.
Computer Skill : The MIED must have proficiency in the use of Internet based applications, Graphics, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point and other related applications.
Age : Candidate should not be more than 45 years as on 1st Aug.’2021. However, at the discretion of SPD, for candidates having exceptional relevant experience and qualification, the age limit may be relaxed.
Indicative range of remuneration (in Lakh per annum) : Rs.11.40 to Rs.19.20
