Govt Job: For Pharmacists at Steel Authority of India Limited

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), a Maharatna Company, and a leading steel-making company in India with a turnover of 49,350 crores (FY 2012–13), is in the process of modernizing and expanding its production units, raw material resources, and other facilities to maintain its dominant position in the Indian steel market.

Bokaro Steel Plant, one of the modernized integrated steel plants of SAIL employing a motivated workforce of around 18000 employees is a producer of HR Coils/Sheets/Plates, CR Coils/ Sheets, and GP Sheets/Coils. Bokaro Steel is working towards becoming a one-stop shop for world-class flat steel in India.

Post: Pharmacist – Medical Department, Bokaro Steel Plant

Qualification : i) 10+2 with Science or its equivalent; and

ii) Diploma/Degree in Pharmacy from an Institute recognized by the Government and registered with Pharmacy Council under Pharmacy Act, 1948 with valid registration.

The candidates must have an Original License/ Certificate of registration for the disciplines issued by the respective issuing authority

Consolidated Stipend to be Paid in Proportion of Attendance Per Month (Rs.)Rs. 17,000/- for 1st cycle Rs. 18,000/- for 2nd cycle Rs. 20,000/- for 3rd cycle

The duration of training shall be for a period of 12 months, extendable for 2 more cycles of equivalent duration.

METHOD OF SELECTION
i. The selection will be done on the basis of performance in a walk-in interview conducted at the Bokaro General Hospital premises by a committee duly constituted and approved by the Head of Medical.

ii. The applicants have to submit a duly filled application form (As per the format given in Appendix-I) at the time of the interview.

iii. Reservations shall be provided as per Presidential Directives.

iv. The maximum age of the candidate on the date interview should be 30 years for UR and a relaxation of 3 years. 5 years and additional 10 years for OBC, SC/Stand PwD candidates

v. The applicant shall have to produce the following documents in original for verification at the time of selection interview vi. Proof of Age (Birth Certificate issued by Government authority / H.S.L.C Admit Card)

vii. Mark sheets of H.S.L.C, H.S, Certificate/Diploma/Degree examinations in relevant fields

viii. Document of Certificate/Diploma/Degree in relevant fields.

ix. Original License/ Certificate of registration issued by the respective authority.

Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo a medical examination and obtain clearance from the Hospital’s Medical Examination Board before joining

OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS
i. SAIL/BSL will not be held responsible for any injury/infirmity of the incumbent arising out of or in the course of training.

ii. This training program is purely temporary for a period of twelve months. Training can be terminated by giving ONE month’s notice by either side.

iii. Incumbents shall execute an undertaking on Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty only) as per the format given as Appendix-II to serve the department solely as a trainee and without any claim of regular employment either direct or preferential in the future solely based on training provided.

iv. Incumbents shall abide by the rules and regulations of the organization, follow the norms for safety & discipline and conduct themselves with honesty and dignity and carry out lawful orders of the administration.

v. The trainee should follow the norms of safety, discipline, conduct & professional ethics and carry out lawful orders of medical administration issued from time to time, and obey all such orders and directions as they may receive from their superiors.

vi. Any misconduct or underperformance or breach of any terms and conditions of the scheme will make the incumbent liable for disciplinary action including immediate termination of the training.

vii. If a trainee remains absent without permission for more than 15 days for two consecutive months, her/his training shall be terminated forthwith any notice.

COMPLETION CERTIFICATE :
• The Trainees will be issued a Certificate after satisfactory completion of the training period.

FACILITIES :
• The trainees shall be provided medical treatment free of cost in the hospital’s OPD for themselves only during the tenure of their training.

• Hostel accommodation may be provided subject to availability and at the sole discretion of the management. Outstation Candidates will be given priority in this regard.

The management reserves the right to modify or withdraw this scheme anytime without notice and without specifying any reasons thereof
