Govt Job for Pharmacists under Home Ministry: 233 posts

National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is a deputationist force under Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Battalions of this force are deployed in various places of the country to provide rescue and relief operations during the natural or manmade disasters in the country and abroad.

Post: Inspector (Pharmacist), Sub-Inspector (Pharmacist), Head Constable (Paramedics)

Inspector (Pharmacist) – 08 posts
Scale of Pay / Classification : Level-7 in pay matrix (Rs.44900-142400) / Group-B
Method of Recruitment : Deputation (including short-term contract)

Eligibility Criteria :
(i) Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union territories or Armed Forces or Central Para Military Forces or Central Police organizations or State Police Organizations.

(ii) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or

(iii) with five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in level 6 in pay matrix Rs.35400-112400 or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department.

(iv) Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized University or Board and registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 ; and

(v) Two years experience as Pharmacist in a recognized office or organization or institution.

(vi) Maximum age limit – 45 years.

Period of deputation : Seven years

Sub-Inspector (Pharmacist) – 25 posts
Scale of Pay / Classification : Level-6 in pay matrix (Rs.35400-112400) / Group-B
Method of Recruitment : Deputation (including short-term contract)

Eligibility Criteria :
(i) Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union territories or Armed Forces or Central Para Military Forces or Central Police organizations or State Police Organizations.

(ii) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or
(iii) with six years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in level 5 in pay matrix Rs.29200-92300 or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department ; or

(iv) with ten years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in level 4 in the pay matrix Rs.25500-81100 or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department ; and

(v) 12th Class pass or equivalent pass from a recognized Board or University ;

(vi) Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized Institute and registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948(8 of 1948) ;

(vii) two years’ experience as Pharmacist in any recognized Hospital or Pharmacy after duly registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (8 of 1948).

(viii) Maximum age limit – 45 years.

Period of deputation : Seven years

Head Constable (Paramedics) – 200 posts
Scale of Pay / Classification : Level-4 in pay matrix (Rs.25500-81100) / Group-C
Method of Recruitment : Deputation (including short-term contract)

Eligibility Criteria :
(i) Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union territories or Armed Forces or Central Para Military Forces or Central Police organizations or State Police Organizations.

(ii) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or
(iii) with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in level 3 in pay matrix Rs.21700-69100 or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department ; and

(iv) 12th class pass or equivalent pass from a recognized Board or University ;

(v) Having certificate of successful completion of qualified Nursing Assistant/Advance Medic Course from Army or Central Para Medical Forces recognized Hospital or Institution ; or

(vi) Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized Institute and shall be registered as “Pharmacist” under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (8 of 1948).

(vii) Maximum age limit – 45 years.
Desirable : Experience and training in recognized office or institution or Hospital.

Period of deputation : Seven years

All selected candidates are eligible for drawing Pay & Allowances including Deputation allowance as applicable to Central Government employee.
