New Delhi: J Mitra & Company has revitalised its war against dengue by launching the Dengue NS1 Antigen self-test kit. This is the first self-test/home-test kit launched by any company in India.

It detects dengue on the first day of fever; it is self-administrable – anyone can conduct the test on their own and in any location; Results are available within 20 mins.

Using the Dengue NS1 Antigen self-test is a straightforward, 2-step process – add one drop of blood into the sample well; add one drop of assay buffer; allow the reaction to occur for 20 minutes and read the result.

The Dengue NS1 Antigen self-test is a proactive tool that can detect the Dengue NS1 Antigen from Day One as soon as the symptoms appear in patients. This early detection capability empowers individuals to take control of their health and seek timely medical intervention. NS1 Antigen can be detected in both primary and secondary dengue infections.
