Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) started in 2004 by eminent educational entrepreneur and social activist Dr. Achyuta Samanta. Located in an ultra-modern eco-friendly Wi-Fi campus, KIMS comprises of a 1400 beded medical college hospital, which is one of the biggest in the state of Odisha, and a 200 bed super-specialty hospital, with allied institutes like the Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS) and Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences (KINS).
