Man arrested for stealing drugs from psychiatric clinic

Hanumangarh:  Town police arrested the main supplier on Tuesday for stealing and supplying banned narcotic pills from a psychiatric clinic. He is also wanted in the case of stealing narcotic pills from a psychiatric clinic. CI Ashok Bishnoi said the accused, Vinod Kumar alias Goru (34), son of Roshanlal Suthar, resident of Premsukh Colony, Hanumangarh Town, was arrested.

Accused Vinod Kumar had stolen 15-20 boxes of Bruferin tablets from a Prayas Psychiatric Clinic located at Bharat Mata Chowk. He had given the stolen tablets to Gurvinder Singh.

A case has already been registered against him for stealing the tablets. Apart from this, on October 25, the police had arrested accused Gurvinder Singh from Fatehgarh Shyam Singh Wala with a total of 1150 Bruferin tablets in 115 strips packed in 12 boxes. Constables Pradeep Singh, Ramesh Kumar and Mahendra were involved in this operation.
