Metro Cancer Institute gets ‘Express’ Thumbs Up from Nitin Gadkari

picFaridabad/ New Delhi: NCR now has a dedicated high end cancer care facilities in Metro Cancer Institute in Faridabad inaugurated by none other than ‘Infrastructure Man of India’ Union Cabinet Minister Nitin Gadkari. The Road Transport & Highways minister gave unqualified thumbs up to the cancer care facilities assembled by Metro group of hospitals. That the no- nonsense minister was mighty impressed by its infrastructure speaks a volume about the Institute. Metro Cancer Institute with its advanced facilities is all set to bring about a paradigm shift in cancer care in Faridabad in particular and NCR in general.

Metro Cancer Institute, a dedicated 350-bed cancer care center located in Faridabad, Haryana. The inauguration ceremony was held on September 25, 2023. In his address, Mr Gadkari emphasized the critical importance of building sound infrastructure to control the increasing incidences of cancer in India. He remarked, “Cancer is a disease that requires special treatment facilities and care to overcome. An infrastructure like the Metro Cancer Institute will undoubtedly play a crucial role in providing advanced cancer care to patients in the region. Just as we invest in expressways for better connectivity, we must invest in dedicated specialty centers to improve healthcare outcomes.”

The Metro Cancer Institute is a pioneering healthcare facility, equipped with the region’s most advanced technology and a highly experienced team of cancer experts. Some of the key highlights of this institute include North India’s first and only TrueBeam with Hyper Arc for advanced radiation treatment, best-in-class PET-CT Scan, Mammography, Brachytherapy, and other cutting-edge equipments.
