MP to Strengthen Drug Control System: State Minister Patel

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh– State Minister Shri Patel announced plans to fortify the drug control mechanism across Madhya Pradesh, emphasizing stricter enforcement and better monitoring to curb violations in pharmaceutical distribution and sales.

The initiative, revealed during a review meeting, targets improvements in inspection protocols and licensing to ensure compliance with national standards. Officials highlighted the need for more rigorous audits amid rising concerns over counterfeit drugs.
Key measures include enhanced training for inspectors and integration of digital tracking tools. The minister stressed that these steps will safeguard public health and support legitimate businesses. Implementation is set to begin next month.
