SHEOHAR: Raid On Illegal Nursing Home And Medical Shop, Medicines Worth Rs 5 Lakh Seized

SHEOHAR:  A raid was conducted at Ganesh Nursing Home in Sheohar. Illegally stocked medicines worth five lakhs were confiscated from there.

The crackdown is on those running illegal nursing homes and unlicensed medicine shops in the city. ADC Dr. Sachchidanand Kumar conducted a raid at the said nursing home.

It is said that this nursing home and the medicine shop running inside it are without a license. A raid was conducted at Ganesh Nursing Home by the police team including drug inspector Mahesh Kumar, Rahul Kumar and sub-inspector Lakhindra Kumar under the leadership of ADC Dr. Sachchidanand Kumar.

Illegal medicines worth about 5 lakh rupees have been seized in the raid operation that continued for 5 hours. The ADC said that this illegal nursing home is being run by Naval Kishore and Chandan Kumar, residents of Bargania. When the medicine shop inside the nursing home was searched, a huge amount of medicines were recovered.
