Sriganganagar Wanted Drug Peddler Arrested

Barmer : Wanted smuggler from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan who came to visit the temple has been arrested by Chauhtan police from Viratra Mata Circle.

The accused is a drug peddler who was supplying illegal drugs in large quantities illegally after obtaining a license many years ago. Cases have been registered against him under the NDPS Act in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Sriganganagar.

Police had been looking for the accused for a long time. The police have produced him in the court and handed him over to the Sriganganagar police.

The police received information from an informer that a suspicious person had come to visit the Viratra temple in Chauhtan. On this, the team of ASI Subhani Ali, under the leadership of Police Station Officer Bhutaram Chauhan, raided and interrogated the accused.

Accused Babulal s/o Ishararam, resident of Dholanada Adel was arrested and interrogated on charges of breach of peace. At the same time, a black Scorpio vehicle was also seized from him.

According to Chauhtan Thanadikari Bhutaram, the accused is a drug peddler. A large number of drugs were being supplied illegally in Rajasthan, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. The role of Constable Anop Kumar, Harlal Punia was important in catching the smuggler. At the same time, the black Scorpio vehicle has also been seized.

Inquiries revealed that a medical license has been taken. After this, he used to bring a large number of intoxicating medicines directly from the company and then used to supply medicines illegally. At the same time, in the last few years, it has supplied medicines in lakhs in Punjab, Ganganagar, Arunachal Pradesh.

1,80,000 intoxicant tablets cases against the accused in Punjab, 39,500 in Rajiasar Sriganganagar, 16,500 in Jawahar Nagar Sriganganagar and 6,100 in Himachal Pradesh in connection with NDPS Act cases are registered. The accused was absconding for a long time.

In Punjab, Arunachal Pradesh, Sriganganagar, the name of this accused came to the fore in the interrogation of the accused who were earlier caught in drugs. For the last three-four years, the police have been continuously searching for him. But he was doing business by changing places. More than half a dozen cases have been registered against this in different police stations.
