CBN Nabs Drug Supplier From Deesa: 16950 Drug Tablets Seized

Barmer : The Central Narcotics Bureau is continuously taking action in the districts of western Rajasthan. The team has arrested an accused from Deesa in Gujarat who was supplying banned drugs to Barmer and Sanchore.

On Wednesday, the team presented in Barmer court from where the accused was sent to jail. The  team Seized 16950 Addnok tablets (banned drugs) from the accused.

CBN seized 8 lakh drugs 21 days ago and arrested four accused from Barmer and Sanchore.

Based on the inputs received by the Central Narcotics Bureau (CBN) team, 21 days back, raids were conducted by conducting a search operation against drugs in Barmer and Sanchore. Four different teams raided godowns and shops in Barmer and Sanchore and seized large quantities of drugs. And in Barmer and Sanchore, 4 accused involved in drug business have been arrested.

More than Rs 8 lakh drugs have been recovered by raiding their shops and godowns. The team has seized 40 cartoons from Barmer city godown and 11 cartoons of drugs from Sanchore godown and medical shops.

The team has arrested the supplier Mukesh Khatri s/o Laxmi Narayan of Disha Gujarat during interrogation of the arrested accused.

According to CBN Superintendent SP Singh, more than 8 lakh drugs were recovered from Barmer and Sanchore in the past. Four accused were arrested. The names of several suspects came to the fore during the interrogation. Input was received that a person was going to supply drugs in Disa, Gujarat. Our team raided Deesa and arrested the accused. Seized 16950 Addnok tablets.
