The health authorities raided a private hospital in Sector 56 on Friday after a few drugs were found to be kept in the hospital without acquiring required permission. The raid was conducted on a hint from a patient. The hospital reportedly had a stock of allopathic medicine and injections, which include Rx, NRx and XRx.19 such drugs fom the hospital were captured.”The drugs can be misused and thus keeping them without permission is threat to patient’s health. We have sent the samples of the drugs to an authorised laboratory,”” said Amardeep Chauhan, drug controller in a media statement.A case has been registered against the owner of the hospital under ths Drug and Cosmetic Act.
