Three youths arrested while looking for customers to sell illegal drugs and syrup

Mahasamund: Smugglers of illegal drugs and syrups have become active. Instead of selling on a large scale, they are supplying the drugs to people in small consignments. Basna police have arrested three smugglers with illegal narcotic tablets from two different places.

According to the information received from the police, on August 28, an informer informed that the smugglers were looking for customers with drugs near an ground located next to the tehsil office of Basna. The police reached the spot and cordoned off the area and caught the accused Salam Mushani (24) s/o Abdul Gaffar Mushani, resident of Arekel Dipa Basna and Sagar Shinde (31) s/o Rajesh Shinde, resident of Ward-10 Talpara Basna. 93 pieces of banned illegal drugs worth Rs. 2724.90 and other items including mobile phones were seized from the possession of the accused.

On the other hand, the police arrested a youth with narcotic tablets near the city ground of Basna. 10 strips of tablets were seized from his possession. The police said that on August 28, based on a tip-off, the police reached near the city ground where the accused Sushant Kumar Chauhan (23), son of the late Bhawan Kumar Chauhan, resident of Ward-11, Sai Nagar Basna, was looking for customers to sell a large quantity of illegal narcotic tablets.

10 strips of illegal narcotic tablet Nitrogen 10 mg, 10 tablets in each strip, total 100 pieces, worth a total of Rs 780, were seized from the possession of the suspect Sushant Kumar Chauhan. The police arrested the three accused and informed their families about the arrest. The police have registered a case against the three accused.
